Welcome to the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at the Bapatla Women’s Engineering College Campus in Bapatla, Bapatla District, Andhra Pradesh. The Department was founded in 2009 with the goal of providing leadership in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The current intake is 120+10% of laterals=132 students. Electronics and Communication Engineering, one of the largest and fastest growing fields of engineering, covers a wide range of applications that make our lives more advanced, sophisticated, and comfortable.
This course of engineering covers the major fields of electronics like Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Microprocessor and Micro controllers, Electro magnetic Field Theory, Antennas and wave propagation, Microwave Engineering, RADARs, Analog & Digital Communication, Satellite Communication, and Mobile Communication apart from basic subjects.
For learning and development, it entails a healthy blend of experienced faculty from various fields, and their dedicated teaching allows students to have an all-around development with discipline. The teaching progresses from basic concepts to higher level learning through hands-on experimentation. Teaching methods have evolved from chalk and talk to ICT tools. Aside from these, there will be Seminars and Guest Lectures from top academics and industry experts.
Students are encouraged to gain hands-on experience in the corporate world through internship projects with reputable organisations while studying at the department. Mini projects are encouraged in their curriculum to supplement theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Aside from the regular curriculum, students are encouraged to participate in technical activities.
The departments’ blend of practical and theoretical experiences, as well as our dedication to academic and ethical excellence, produce outstanding Electronics engineers who are in high demand for both higher education and employment.
To bridge the gap between institute and industry in light of the rapid changes in technology, the department has signed MOUs with professional bodies such as IETE and various institutions/organizations like BSNL, OCTOZE, Co-Cubes, Elite Technologies, MicroLink peripherals and SRC solutions.
Students who have graduated from here have been placed in good industries like Deloitte, CTS, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini etc with the highest package, and some have gone on to pursue higher education at prestigious institutions. Students who earn a degree in this field will have a plethora of opportunities because it combines hardware and software.
It is truly a great time to be a part of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Bapatla Women’s Engineering College Campus, in an age when electronics play a major role in daily life and the promise of latest technologies is coming to fruition. I thank the Management for providing wonderful facilities and encouraging unboundedly for all our activities.
