Bapatla Women’s Engineering College proudly participated in the prestigious IDE Boot Camp 2026, held from April 20 to 24, 2026, at the Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The five-day boot camp was jointly organized by the All India Council for Technical Education and the Ministry of Education Innovation Cell, with support from the Wadhwani Foundation and the SBI Foundation.
A total of 15 colleges from Andhra Pradesh participated in the program, and Bapatla Women’s Engineering College was honored to be one among them. The college submitted four startup ideas, out of which the innovative project titled “Neural Path AI in Career Guidance” was selected for the boot camp.

During the boot camp, industry experts and startup mentors provided valuable insights on various topics, including:

- Strategies for Developing Successful Startups

- Startup Ecosystem and Business Development
The achievement brought great pride to the institution. The students were congratulated by Principal Dr. Ch. Hima Bindu, Vice Principal Mrs. I. Haritha, and Head of the Department of CSE Mrs. G. Venkateswari. They appreciated the students for their dedication and encouraged them to actively participate in similar innovation and entrepreneurship programs in the future.
