The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with Pantech e-Learning and IETE Vijayawada, successfully conducted a 5-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Deep Learning using NVIDIA Jetson Nano”. The program was aimed at equipping faculty members and researchers with knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing deep learning models using NVIDIA’s powerful Jetson Nano platform, which is designed to accelerate AI applications.

By the end of the FDP, participants were able to:

1. Understand the foundational concepts of deep learning and their applications.
2. Gain hands-on experience in setting up and utilizing the NVIDIA Jetson Nano for AI tasks.
3. Implement and optimize deep learning models for real-time applications such as object detection and image classification.
4. Discuss emerging trends and future applications of deep learning in edge computing.
