Nine talented students from Bapatla Women’s Engineering College have been selected to represent the Bapatla District Hockey Association in the 16th Andhra Pradesh Junior Women Inter-District Hockey Championship 2026, scheduled to be held from April 16 to 18 in Chittoor.

The college principal officially announced the achievement and appreciated the students for bringing pride to the institution. The selected players were congratulated by Educational Society President Sri Muppalaneni Srinivasa Rao, Principal Smt. Himabindu, Vice Principal Smt. Haritha, Hockey Bapatla Association Secretary Sri Boyina Veera Chandra, Physical Director Sri Rama Rao, and DSA Hockey Coach Venkat.
