Bapatla Women’s Engineering College (BWEC) has added another remarkable achievement to its academic excellence by securing the prestigious “Best Paper Award” at the International Conference on “Trustworthy AI for Intelligent Computing Systems”, organized by Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The award was presented for the outstanding research paper titled “A Disability-Aware Adaptive E-Learning Platform using AI and Assistive Technologies,” developed by IV B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students Vijaya Durga Chandana, C. Varshini, and B. Shivamayi under the guidance of Mrs. M. Anita, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

The international conference was held on 29th and 30th May 2026 and brought together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students from various institutions to present innovative research in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Computing Systems. The research paper from BWEC was highly appreciated for its innovative approach toward developing an inclusive AI-powered e-learning platform that supports learners with disabilities through advanced assistive technologies.

This prestigious international recognition reflects the college’s strong commitment to promoting research, innovation, and academic excellence while encouraging students to develop technology-driven solutions that address real-world challenges and contribute to an inclusive society.

On this occasion, the College Management, Dr. Ch. Hima Bindu, Principal, Ms. I. Haritha, Vice Principal, Mrs. G. Venkateswari, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Mrs. B. Mahalakshmi, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mrs. M.
