In a significant initiative to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and the startup ecosystem among students, Bapatla Women’s Engineering College (BWEC) has entered into a Declaration-cum-Implementation Agreement Confirmation with the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) and Amaravati Foundation for the implementation of the RTIH InnoTribe Program Tier-II.

As part of this collaboration, the college will establish an Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) Cell to nurture creativity, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurial skills among students while encouraging them to transform their ideas into successful startup ventures.

Under the programme, students will have access to a wide range of innovation-focused activities, including Innovation Awareness Sessions, Workshops, Hackathons, Innovation Challenges, Idea Development Programmes, and various campus-level innovation initiatives. The programme will also provide opportunities for students to actively participate in the national innovation ecosystem. The institution has committed to organizing at least two innovation and awareness programmes every semester to promote a culture of continuous innovation.

The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) will provide the necessary implementation framework, including a structured training model, Learning Management System (LMS) access, expert mentoring, industry guidance, monitoring mechanisms, quality standards, and branding support to ensure the successful execution of the programme.

This partnership is aimed at developing an innovation-driven mindset among students, encouraging entrepreneurship, supporting startup creation, and expanding opportunities for self-employment and technology-based ventures.

Through this agreement, students of Bapatla Women’s Engineering College will gain valuable exposure to national-level innovation platforms, receive mentorship from experts, and develop the skills required to emerge as future entrepreneurs and startup leaders. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the institution’s innovation ecosystem and prepare students to contribute effectively to India’s growing entrepreneurial landscape.
