The Science and Humanities (S&H) Department of Bapatla Women’s Engineering College, in association with the Innovation Institutional Council (IIC), successfully organized a One-Day Seminar on “Quantum Physics” on 29 June 2026.
The seminar featured Dr. V. Raghavayya as the distinguished guest speaker. He delivered an insightful lecture on the fundamental concepts and recent advancements in Quantum Physics. His presentation covered key topics such as wave-particle duality, quantum states, the uncertainty principle, and the applications of quantum theory in modern technological fields.
The event was graced by Dr. Chinni Hima Bindu, Principal, I. Haritha, Vice Principal, M. Suvarna Kumari, Head of the S&H Department, G. Venkateswari, Head of the CSE Department, and B. Mahalakshmi, Head of the ECE Department.
The seminar was coordinated by Rohini. Faculty members and a large number of first-year students actively participated in the program.
During the seminar, the speaker provided students with an in-depth understanding of Quantum Physics and its significance in contemporary science and technology. An interactive Question & Answer (Q&A) session was conducted at the end of the program, enabling students to clarify their doubts and engage in meaningful discussions.
The event concluded successfully with the coordinated efforts of the IIC team, making it an informative and enriching learning experience for all participants.
