The inauguration of the IETE Bapatla Sub-Centre was a momentous occasion held on   27.12.2025 (Saturday)   at Conference hall, Bapatla Women’s Engineering College (BWEC), Bapatla. The event marked a significant milestone in the growth of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE).

The event was graced by notable personalities Dr.Srinivasa Rao, Principal BWEC; Shri. M.Srinivasa Rao, President , Bapatla Education Society; Shri.M.Nageswara Rao , Secretary, Bapatla Education Society ; Shri Sunil, President, IETE; Dr Gnaneshwar Rao, South Zone Mentor,;Dr.Sitaram Babu  GC Memebr; Dr Surya Prasada Rao, Chairman IETE Vijayawada,;Dr Riyazuddien, Secretary, IETE Vijayawada;  Dr Vara Prasad, Treasurer, IETE Vijayawada.

The inauguration of the IETE Sub-centre was a grand success and has opened new avenues for students and professionals in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications. With the combined efforts of IETE members and the local community, this sub-centre is set to become a hub of innovation, knowledge, and skill development in collaboration with IETE-Vijayawada Centre.
