Healthy interaction between Institutions and Industry is mandatory for growth of any institution. The blooming engineers need the exposure to Industry and understand the Corporate Culture for their Placements in different Multi-National Companies. It is evident that with the advent of globalization and opening up of Indian economy to outside world, competition among the Industries has also become stiff.
- Institute Industry Interaction Cell was established at BWEC in the year 2023with Principal Dr. G. SrinivasaRao
- Academic departments have been carrying out various activities envisaged under the III Cell independently.
- The IIIC plays a key role in bringing together government agencies, universities, industry faculty and students resulting in major contributions to design and development of the implementation of ICT in the country and across the world.
- The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between need of the industry and end product of the institute.

IIIC promotes industry experts to continuously partake in curriculum design and career development programs which play a significant role in honing the skill set of the students inclined towards the expectation of the industry. IIIC aims to bridge the gap between the institute and the industry and offer real time exposure on projects and other developments. The IIIC provides an excellent platform for both the students as well as the faculty members to be aware of industry expectations from the graduates.
OBJECTIVES OF THE CELL
- To explore and identify common avenues of interaction with industry
- To Establish Centre of Excellence by Industry/ Corporate to Provide Real Time exposure on Technologies
- To cultivate symbolic relationships between college and industry as well as college and other research institutes
- Participation in regular seminars, guest lectures, conferences, corporate meetings, etc. that are industry-related.
- Encourage industry engineers and alumni to attend institutions for knowledgeable lecturers.
- Develop professionalism, ethical principles, and industry-specific awareness.
- Participation of experts from industries, in curriculum development
- To promote various research activities by the faculty members and students.
- To establish convergence with industrial and research organizations from various fields through MOUs as a form of interaction.
- To offer research, development, consultancy and testing services to solve industrial problems.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF INSTITUTE INDUSTRY INTERACTIVECELL:
- To organize Workshop on trending technologies by experts in the field.
- To assist the Departments in organizing workshops, conferences and symposia with joint participation of the industries.
- Encouraging Engineers from industries to visit institution to deliver lectures
- To organize industrial visits for Faculty members and students.
- To coordinate/ identify industrial partners for proposing ‘Centre for Excellence’.
- To assist the Training and Placement Division.
- Visit of industry executives and practicing engineers to the institute for seeing research work and laboratories.
- Memorandum of Understanding between the institute and industries to bring the two sides emotionally and strategically closer.
- Visits of faculty to industry for study and discussions or delivering lectures on subjects of mutual interest.
- Visiting faculty/professors from industries.
- Practical training of students in industries.
